đ± Successful Tree Planting Campaign: A Giant Step Towards a Greener Nigeria On June 5th, 2025, Stephen Omatule Foundation Africa (SOFA) proudly collaborated with the International Forum for Peace & Diplomacy (IFPD) to commemorate World Environment Day with an impactful tree planting exercise at Millennium Park, Abuja. The event was a huge success! Together with enthusiastic youth, volunteers, and partners, we planted hundreds of trees in a single day, contributing directly to reforestation efforts, carbon sequestration, and environmental restoration in the Federal Capital Territory. This project reinforces our belief that collective action can create real change. Every tree planted represents hope, cleaner air, restored ecosystems, and a more resilient future for our communities. We are motivated by the energy and commitment shown by all participants. Climate action is not a government-only responsibility; it is a call to every individual, organization, and community.
