Born from a Vision of Change
SOFA was founded with a singular conviction: that African communities possess the resilience, wisdom, and capacity to overcome their greatest challenges — they only need the right support to unlock it.
From the beginning, we have worked side by side with community leaders, local governments, and international partners to design programs that address interconnected challenges: food insecurity, climate vulnerability, lack of education access, and environmental degradation.
Today, SOFA operates across multiple African nations, directly impacting tens of thousands of lives and building systems that will continue to generate positive outcomes for generations to come.
